Miniature favelas sprung up in the windows of Havaianas White City and Carnaby Street stores to launch a new range of flips flops designed in collaboration with Brazilian artist Ricardo Negro.

Negro’s spirited paintings of his beloved São Paulo favelas were at the heart of the project. We printed his colourful illustrations large-scale on panels of plywood and layered them between vinyl graphics.

Tall pylons strung with cable emerge jauntily from between the houses, framing oversized renderings of the flip flops nestled amongst the bustling streets.
