Hosted here at StudioXAG, we ran our very own Big B Corp Bonanza to get the team involved in some sustainable activities, including a team clothes swap as well as a wax wrap making workshop and a whole spread of B Corp snacks and drinks, including brands such as Graze, Moth and Dash.
Our Amsterdam team headed down to Dutch B Corp Zoku’s offices for a B Corp Month social, housing a clothes swap, drinks by avallen, and a cinema screening of Fairphone’s Behind the Screens from B Corp certified streaming platform WaterBear.
Live at the Bates Wells offices, we attended an insightful panel discussion featuring Kresse Wessling (co-founder of Elvis & Kresse), Thea Cooper (Senior Business Manager of anti-slavery charity Unseen UK) and Safia Minney (founder of Fashion Declares). They spoke of the need for more ethical practices in the fashion industry and in production supply chains, and the benefits of extended producer responsibilities (EPR) regulations. Shortlisted for a Drapers Sustainable Fashion Award, our team popped along to the accompanying conference for a whole range of panel discussions and presentations, exploring everything from the possibilities of circular business models to the rise of secondhand pioneer Vinted and a live Drapers Den pitching session.
