Napapijri x StudioXAG: Unexplored Horizons

StudioXAG teamed up with Napapijri on a vibrant, multi-textural window rollout spanning 14 key city stores across Europe. Our concept was designed for the brand’s SS19 collection, Unexplored Horizons.

Immersing ourselves in North African craftsmanship and attire, we were inspired by practices such as Macrame, Moroccan acoustic tapestry and ceremonial dress wear.

We constructed colour-clashing plinths and striped panels, wrapping cotton yarns around birch doweling and hand-staining materials with vivid washes. Layers of hand finished profile cut panels in mixed media interplayed with cork and plywood, creating a highly textural, dynamic, interlocking 3D collage effect.

We opted for painted finishes over laminates, ensuring the display could be recycled post-campaign.
