adidas x StudioXAG: Superlative

The space is designed to exhibit their differences, the innovation behind each product and encourage interaction, prompting visitors to ‘choose their team’.

The centrepiece is a series of lit concentric circles loaded with infrared sensors. Each user must choose their team by jumping on the corresponding floor graphic, the sensors detect this movement and begin pulsing purple or rippling pink depending on their choice.

Content on digital screens within the installation also switch to play tailored content for each boot.

Cut down the centre, each boot has an individual zone to tell the story of the two products, made up of a series of tiered plinths and panels with perforated metal detailing. Two eye-catching sculptures have also been produced to embody the energy of each product: a series of purple spikes for Predator and a series of pink waves for Copa.
