Karen Millen x StudioXAG: RIBA 2015

For RIBA’s Regent Street Windows Project, the team at Hassell wanted to bring to life the concept of a mythical draped tree which ran through all 11 windows of the Karen Millen Regent St store.

As architects, they wanted to explore the idea of the movement fabric as a contrast to the rigid structures architects usually work with. StudioXAG were invited to bring this vision to life, experimenting with soft structures, drapery and the cut and fall of the cloth, using fabrics created in the brand’s in-house Atelier, celebrating Karen Millen’s femininity and craftsmanship.
