Anya Hindmarch x StudioXAG: Labelled Collection

Our concept store for Anya Hindmarch epitomised the theme of organisation and the inspiration behind the Labelled Collection – the need for a filing system within handbags and suitcases.

"I wanted to bring our customer into my compulsively organised world and offer a unique retail experience."
Anya Hindmarch speaking to British Vogue

For this nineties inspired office scene, we installed a monotonous expanse of carpet tiles followed by wrapping interior walls in a unifying matt finish, transforming over 300 square metres into a gradient of grey.

A filing wall feature was meticulously constructed from a medley of office furniture and accessories, with intermittent functioning filing cabinets and pedestals forming display units for the vivid Labelled Collection.

The scheme continued in the windows, with a display of filing units accompanied by graphic branding inspired by traditional label makers.

"I love it because it’s like going back to school, you feel younger! Our life can be so hectic, with a little bit of organisation, everything is just easier!"
Sarah Andelman - Founder of Just An Idea?

The experience went beyond retail to systemise every facet of life – the adaptable layout catered for workshops, talks and events to organise Anya’s community, with live on site embossing to label every moment.
