Christian Louboutin x StudioXAG: 20 Year Anniversary

Designed in collaboration with Christian Louboutin himself, the windows were composed from a series of interwoven graphics. Exploring symmetry, playing with scale, repetition and kaleidoscopic motion, each of the smaller windows focused on an individual product, showcasing key detailing.

The largest window tells the story of the collection marching out of Christian’s head with concentric rings of graphics rotating in different directions to create a hypnotic mesmerising effect.

We brought the storytelling to life through different forms of movement in each window with specially engineered mechanical elements powering moving graphics.

Inside the pop up store pays homage to the brand’s store identity. Intricate typographic archways mark the entrance into the concept store and arch shaped niches frame the limited edition bag collection. The Wonder Cabinets act as mini internal windows and recall playful storytelling.
