lululemon x StudioXAG: Wunder Train

After obsessing over every technology, fabric, stitch and seam to build the Wunder Train tight with purpose, the Lululemon team approached StudioXAG with the challenge of highlighting their attention to detail with bold active storytelling.

‘Let the product speak for itself’ was our design approach towards Lululemon’s Wunder Train Tight, a product focused campaign that encourages the freedom of movement. We designed and produced a series of eye-catching 3D window displays and in-store moments globally, including both the London Regent Street and Paris Champs Elysées stores, to educate shoppers on the advanced technology and unique features present in their best-selling legging.

The show-stopper is, of course, the lenticular displays, conveying a wash of orange gradient on one side and the words ‘The Wunder Train Tight’ on the other. As you walk from left to right, you will experience a smooth and warm-toned mural, providing a fitting backdrop for the seamless design of the leggings. As you reach the centre and cross to the right-hand side the words pop out in a bold and attention-grabbing type.

Looking at the displays a little closer, you’ll find they are enhanced with technical annotations, offering a layer of digestible and educational content, displayed in engaging, confidence-boosting ways and platforming Lululemon as experts in the field of activewear.
