Christian Louboutin x StudioXAG: Loubi’s on the Beach

A boardwalk, kiosks, beach huts, lifeguards and deckchairs adorn the Corner Shop space, transforming it into a stylish beach-themed spot to eat, drink and relax in.

Red and white striped beach huts act as unique pedestals for the Maison’s new summer collection, framed beneath large matching parasols. Visitors are encouraged to sit and relax on deckchairs, where they can enjoy limited-edition branded Christian Louboutin ice creams and seltzers from the beach kiosk, as they drink in the sights and sounds of the seaside.

Loubi’s on the Beach recreates an archetypal British summer holiday, and plays on this nostalgia to offer up a number of new products. Inspired by Christian’s love of travel, the new capsules reflect the energetic, joyful senses of seaside living. Their Greekaba capsule brings further cues from the warmer seas of the Agean, giving the collection and experience depth and variety.

Christian’s penchant for dance and movement is echoed in the windows, with a troupe of synchronised swimmers playfully showing off their footwear out at sea, whilst feet dangle in the shallows.

A range of exclusive products are on show along the shoreline, including a limited edition set of surfboards that are seamlessly connected to the identity of the installation and clothing collection. Bats and balls, cups and other beach essentials are also available to buy, alongside matching swim sets that perfectly pair with the surfboards – surely the most stylish way to ride the waves?

The month-long popup begins on June 6th 2022, and celebrates the Great British Summer through weekly events and animations, adding even more opportunities for experiential and inclusive experiences that tap into a collective love of beachside fun.
