As with the previous store, we’ve drawn inspiration from the rich heritage of the brand and temporary nature of the space by imagining the boutique as a ‘work in progress’, the craftsmen and artisans working on the store have left in a hurry giving the illusion that the store is in mid-execution. Inside amongst unfinished paintwork, arches and hand painted designs from the designer’s very first boutique are drawn upon the walls.

Two curvaceous, vermillion red walls form the focal point of the boutique which hold a number of niches holding footwear, some featuring digital screens displaying a plethora of changing digital content. Above this, Christian Louboutin’s iconic handwritten emblem is emblazoned in neon to create a show stopping entrance moment. Behind these walls, lies an intimate seating area cocooned by sunburst tasseled roofs inspired by temples of the Middle East.

Product plinths elaborately sculpted in lacquered Kraft paper are yet to be unwrapped, sculpturally tied with red rope. Meticulously handcrafted Siam elephants and Madagascan lemurs have been set loose in the store, some cheekily climbing the walls whilst in the windows, others climb ladders displaying footwear and accessories from the collection.

Console tables feature polished brass details and romantically fluted velvet legs, complete with an additional top piece to take you from day to soirée. For lighting, a series of tiered red and white tassels on brass fixtures form chandeliers inspired by Paris’s chicest bars.
