Anya Hindmarch x StudioXAG: I Am A Plastic Bag

The revolutionary ‘I Am A Plastic Bag’ collection is manufactured from recycled plastic bottles that are spun into yarn to produce a canvas that feels like cotton.

Over London Fashion Week Anya Hindmarch closed her 3 London stores from 14th-18th February filling them with recycled plastic bottles to mark the launch of the new collection. The bottles were collected by Anya Hindmarch employees, First Mile, Grundon Waste Management, Paper Round and The Crown Estate.

StudioXAG helped bring Anya Hindmarch’s vision to life, using thousands of plastic bottles to create a visually stunning, impactful scene.

In keeping with the sustainability message, we minimised the environmental impact of production, choosing to hire rather than produce new materials for the project. The window graphics were produced with eco-friendly inks, printed onto a completely PVC-free material. All elements were sourced within a 40 mile radius, and we will offset the carbon generated during transportation & installation.
