Vivienne Westwood x StudioXAG: Climate Economy

Inspired by the painting ‘Flowers in a Glass’ by Bosschaert, we have produced window displays for Vivienne Westwood that bring the painting to life.

For twelve stores in Europe and the USA, forget me nots, carnations, tulips and peonies are amongst the vibrant floral display, fabricated in crepe paper and painted with watercolours and inks, all crafted by hand in our London workshop. Larger than life insects also playfully occupy the windows.

Climate Economy Behind the Scenes

Our windows also reference the brand’s Climate Economy movement, a campaign of rejecting exploitative practices in favour of more sustainable routes such as their message to “Buy less. Choose well. Make it last.”

Spotlighted in WGSN’s ‘Spring Blooms’ trend.
