We’re delighted to announce that Feel Touch, our creative response to the global pandemic, has won an accolade at The Drum Experience Awards 2020.
The project explores the future of retail experience, presenting an entirely contact-free experience designed to stimulate all of the senses. Our design and strategy teams worked to imagine an environment which addresses the various challenges facing the retail industry. Principally, how do you create an experience which is inspiring, encourages interaction and elicits an emotional response without being able to touch anything?
The result of this thinking was five experiences which respond to our collective needs and emotions provoked by the unusual times we are living through. Multi-sensory spaces where scent, sound and visuals combine to create moments to feel connected with others, be uplifted by joyful news, and to explore faraway lands.
We took home the award for The One That Got Away, a category designed to recognise outstanding work which didn’t have the opportunity to be produced. We’d like to thank The Drum’s panel of judges for their support.
Alongside the project, we released a series of reports which offer practical thoughts and guidance on how the retail landscape may change over the coming years, and how retailers can get ahead of the game.
