Take the Hermès kiosk – a travelling hub that captures the essence of the brand while making a global impact in cities like Barcelona, Athens, Seoul, and Aix-en-Provence. Its small, mobile design allows Hermès to create a communal space that reflects the brand’s values of generosity, warmth, and creativity.

At each stop, visitors can engage in unique activities—from live music to chess, perfume bottling, portrait sketching and more—offering a dynamic glimpse into the imaginative world of Hermès.

Vaara’s compact new space within The Edition Hotel in Dubai perfectly embodies the power of distillation. Working within a footprint of only 19 square metres, StudioXAG focused on refining every detail to channel the brand’s ethos of elevated wellness.

The brand’s pilates-inspired aesthetic is translated through clean lines, natural materials, and body-centric design. Streamlined steel fixtures evoke the tension of a reformer machine, complemented by light oak, leather, and onyx, reminiscent of a luxurious yoga studio. Whilst a backlit coffered ceiling and travertine floors create an added sense of spaciousness.

StudioXAG Lead Designer Anna Zaniboni highlighted the importance of editing in small spaces, “it’s about deciding what really matters to the brand and making conscious decisions of what you’re happy to cut. How can you communicate the brand as effectively as possible with the least number of elements?”
