An adventure into the Space Age for Christian Louboutin

Christian Louboutin Lost In Space

An intergalactic global window rollout for Christian Louboutin’s Spring 2017 collection.

Working with the team at Christian Louboutin, StudioXAG designed and produced window displays for the brand’s boutiques across the globe, bringing to life their ‘lost in space’ concept.

A contemporary take on Space Age inspiration, windows featured modular ‘UFO’ pods, in an array of gold, copper and chrome finishes, framed by jewel-tone cabochon lights. Singular footwear and accessories were illuminated within each unit, displayed upon a red rocket base, with an illuminated trail blasting off below.

In the Paris flagship windows, a Stanley Kubrick ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ inspired spacecraft filled the entire window. Purpose built display niches house each product, arranged around a central a lenticular graphic which is animated in response to the viewers movements. A pre-programmed light sequence further animates the spectacle.

Galactic star filled backdrops featured Louboutin’s take on a glamorous astronaut, complete with the new collection floating in zero-gravity nearby.
