At the Vivienne Westwood London Conduit Street store, giant tumbling playing cards and an array of cakes and biscuits set the scene. Card, paper and pens were used to depict individual characters, each with their own unique prop and inspired by the books’ original illustrations.

The Queen of Hearts, Mad Hatter and White Rabbit surrounded a bespoke distorted table adorned in Westwood’s fabric that shrunk down to miniature size. Tiny crockery, vintage props and sweet treats filled the table, capturing the magic and mysteries of Wonderland.

The store was the perfect setting for Vivienne to do a special reading of Alice in Wonderland to children. The display later travelled to Vivienne Westwood’s Milan store, with Vivienne designing a special cover for the anniversary edition of the book.
