Window displays and in-store spaces designed, produced and installed to mark the launch of Y-3’s first performance sportswear collection. Designs were tailored to multiple locations in London, New York, Tokyo and Shanghai.
The collection’s nonconformist mantra spans the floor to stake claim over each in-store space, enhancing the renegade aesthetic of the collection alongside cool-hued steel fixtures and bold campaign imagery shot in an industrial setting. Product is displayed on metalwork fixture which include a steel footwear plinth with angular cut-out stripes, hollow folded steel accessories plinth lined with reconstructed rubber sports track and steel rail hood with a black silicone wrapped rail. In each window display the collection mantra is abstracted and cut away to frame an asymmetrical steel structure which is entangled with black electrical cables. A steel clad screen showcasing the collection campaign film is suspended from black rubber strapping within the structure, whilst the logo and tagline is applied to the glass in striking retro-reflective vinyl.
